Developmental Phases
Phase One: Gathering Information
The amount of time in all phases varies depending on the size of the project and whether the content has been preprepared or is being developed by a third party.
  • The Developer speaks with the client personally about the CDROM and discusses topics such as CD content, trademark specifications, CD options, CD navigation, color schemes and other material needed to begin development
  • The developer provides preliminary storyboards and interface mockups that visually demonstrate user navigation.
  • The designer and client continue comunications untill the user interface, content and navigation design meet the clients needs.

    Phase Two: Scripting
    Throughout the developmental process there is continued client/developer communications regarding site content, design revisions and project status.
  • The developer begins importing graphics and media into the project file
