Developmental Phases
Phase One: Gathering Information
The amount of time in all phases varies depending on the size of the project.
  • The Developer speaks with the client personally about the site and discusses topics such as site content, trademark specifications, site options, site navigation, color schemes and other material needed to begin development
  • The developer provides preliminary site maps and interface mockups that visually demonstrate user navigation.
  • The designer and client continue comunications untill the user interface, content and navigation design meet the clients needs.
  • Domain names and host accounts are discussed and purchased.
Phase Two: Scripting
Throughout the developmental process there is continued client/developer communications regarding site content, design revisions and project status.
